Social responsibility
M.D. S.R.L. intends to affirm and disseminate a business culture based on legality, transparency, ethics, fairness and respect for the rules, and has transfused ethical values and social responsibility into the Organisation, Management and Control Model, pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231 of 8 June 2001, and to the Code of Ethics, identified as opportunities for growth and improvement in the quality of the work environment and the resolution of problems, from the minor to the most serious, that may arise in the daily performance of work activities. M.D. S.R.L. identified its internal stakeholders in its employees and managers, and its external stakeholders in its relations with institutions, suppliers, clients, business partners, trade unions and political organisations, and the media. All must abide by the principles enshrined in the Model and in the Code of Business Ethics approved by the company’s Sole Director and annually reviewed by the same and by the Unipersonal Supervisory Board. Compliance with these principles is essential to achieve the company’s mission and to guarantee the company’s reputation in the socio-economic context in which it operates. For this reason, M.D. S.R.L. firmly believes that every activity must be carried out ethically, recognising itself in the principle enshrined in Article 41 of the Constitution, according to which private economic initiative ‘cannot be carried out in conflict with social utility or in such a way as to damage security, freedom, and human dignity’.
